The short version

Every test runs inside your browser. Your key presses, mouse clicks, controller input, microphone audio and camera image stay on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else.

Microphone and camera

The mic and webcam tests ask your browser for permission only after you press Start. Audio and video are analysed in memory on your device. A recording or snapshot is only saved if you press Download, and then it goes straight to your own downloads folder. Leaving the page stops the device.

What we store

Some tests remember small settings, such as your keyboard layout, in your browser's local storage so you do not have to choose them again. You can clear them any time in your browser settings. We do not use accounts and do not set tracking cookies.

Statistics

We count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or collect personal data. It never sees anything from the tests themselves.
